New to the "Blogging World"

OK, so here goes, my very first blog!
Not sure where to start, but this all came about when my neighbor and I were talking and hanging out on my driveway, which by the way I have really come to enjoy!!!! Somehow her blog page got mentioned. (Excuse the blog terms if I'm using them incorrectly :-)) And later that evening, (not in a "stalky" kind of way), I began trying to remember how she instructed me to look at her blog. (By the way my neighbor friend's name is Mendy.)
I searched on google and it came right up. I found my self reading her blogs and I was truly inspired by her!!
I thought to myself, this would be a great way to keep track of my daughters milestones and my family for that matter. It is also a great way to keep my family in the know.
I began scrapbooking when Mollie was a baby and I could never seem to find the time to keep up with it. It gets VERY time consuming and can be VERY expensive. I have tons of scrapbooking stuff but like I said I could never make the time to concentrate solely on scrapbooking. I just have way too many distractions!
So, blogging in my opinion is "computer scrapbooking" You can still have the cute layouts, all the Kodak memories, and plenty of room for jounaling without all the mess and clean-up afterwards!!! All I can say is PERFECT!!
So, on a more serious note I'm attempting the blogging world to capture the journey of my family. I don't want this to be a stress trigger as I only want to this to be a pleasant hobby! My goal is to make it fun and hopefully people will enjoy as much I enjoy reading others...one other thing, I'm not promising perfection but on a lighter note I know the person(s) on the other end wouldn't expect that!!!
